Whitewater Rafting Safety
All of our trips are family oriented and as safe as we can make them. It is our
goal to provide a FUN experience in a SAFE way. If special needs are required please
let us know at the time of your reservation.
Each guide is certified in First Aid and CPR with some guides more certified. All
guides have gone through the necessary training to be professional river guides
and make every attempt to ensure this trip is a safe and enjoyable experience for
everyone.
A waiver form must be signed by each participant. Please download, complete, and
bring forms with you when you come:
We will provide you with a PFD and helmet and paddle and you must provide and wear
proper footwear, which is tennis shoes, water shoes, or sandals with a secure heel
strap.
No drugs or alcoholic beverages are permitted. If we suspect you have consumed anything
that will impair you before your trip, you will not be able to participate and will
not get a refund.
A trip talk is given by the guides before the trip to explain to you the "what if
this happens" scenarios and "the how to’s" to react. This is a necessary part of
your day and you must listen and attend this talk.
